One of the most successful programs introduced by Gold Coast Soccer to local clubs is the Squirts program.
This program has been put into place to provide pre-competition players with early skills and game knowledge.
Tamborine Mountain Eagles have been running the Squirts program for a number of years now and have been lucky to acquire the coaching services of Lindsay and Emmy Kallis.
Both Lindsay and Emmy are accomplished players themselves and have volunteered their time run the program.
The squirts are aged between 3 and 5 years of age and sessions are designed to assist in motor sensory development, skill acquisition and enjoyment.
After graduating from the squirts program the youngsters are ready for competition. The success of last years squirts program has also meant a record number of U6’s starting competition this year.
