A roundup of who's saying what in Hollywood and what's on around Tamborine Mountain and the Scenic Rim
Fear & Freedom
Gold Coast singer Ricki-Lee's forthcoming album, Fear & Freedom, comes with a sexy Wonder Woman cover that perfectly matches the vibe.
Ricki-Lee says the album, which will be released next month, is about unleashing your inner strength. The new album is out on August 17.
Talk about casting against type...
According to The New York Daily News, Emma Watson is the latest actress rumored to be up for the role of Anastasia Steele in the upcoming Fifty Shades of Grey big screen adaption.
A Knowles family feud is reportedly brewing, and it's all over Kim Kardashian
Beyonce and Kim have been spotted out together multiple times over the last couple weeks, appearing to actually enjoy one another's company, and Solange Knowles is far from happy about it. Following photos of Kim and Beyonce dancing as a pair at a Kanye West/Jay-Z concert last month, the siblings reportedly got into a blowout.
“Solange Knowles called Beyonce out on it, and they had a fight over Kim," says the insider. "It culminated with Beyonce telling Solange she can be friends with whomever she wants.” Kardashian also gave Beyonce a $5,000 bracelet for daughter Blue Ivy recently, one inscribed with "Love Auntie Kim." Even Beyonce thought it was a tad much.
Nick Stahl is alive and, hopefully, on his way to doing well
The actor - who went missing on two occasions, most recently in mid-June following a trip to rehab - has found his way back to his family and is on the path to recovery, a source tells.
Stahl is reportedly attending AA classes and loved ones say he's "in a good place." It's unclear where the actor is residing at the moment, but sources confirm it is not at home.
Stahl even Tweeted a photo of himself and his wife tweeted yesterday. The former Terminator star was initially reported missing in May, and then once again a month later. Let's all hope that's never the case again.
Yup, she's in.
Following days of rumors and assumptions, Mariah Carey was officially announced as a judge on Season 12 of American Idol today “As a singer, songwriter and producer, it’s going to be fun and rewarding to help find new talent and give back with American Idol,” the number-one hit maker said in a statement.
With Carey on board, attention will likely next turn to Randy Jackson. He serves as Mariah's manager and it would stand to reason their relationship means he would remain on as judge. As for the third spot? Who knows!

Roy Lichtenstein Pop Art Exhibition
Roy Lichtenstein's name became synonymous with the Pop Art movement, and his works stand today alongside those of his contemporaries such as Andy Warhol, as icons of American art in the 60s and 70s. The artist's characteristic comic strip, benday dot imagery has entered the collective subconscious as an instantly recognisable graphic aesthetic.
This exhibition is drawn exclusively from the National Gallery of Australia's Kenneth Tyler Print Collection and includes newly restored and digitised, rare, candid photography and film components that reveal a fascinating insight into the artist's collaborative working methods in the creation of a number of his best known printed series.
