Three areas on Tamborine Mountain will be targeted as part of program to improve stormwater management in 2012/13.
Council will carry out improvement works in the areas of Cliff Way, Beacon Rd, and Magnetic Dr on Tamborine Mountain.
The projects will be funded out of Council’s $19.3 million roads and bridges budget.
“These three areas have been prioritised against drainage issues that have been currently identified by Council,” Mayor John Brent said.
“Once complete, the projects will improve stormwater management in the affected areas.
“Council is committed to delivering projects and infrastructure across the region which respond to the needs of the community.”
