Dear Editor
In reply to your letter in last week’s Daily Star I would like to assure you there is not a “pocket of land behind directly behind George’s Paragon Restaurant” not being used.
As my house is directly behind his restaurant I personally would prefer not to have cars parked on my roof.
The Eaglebrook Estate is directly behind Gallery Walk and any free land we have is in use for our very expensive envirocycle septic system which caters for all 39 houses in total and we have to have somewhere to drain it off to.
If we are not allowed to use our land for anything else but draining for the septic and not for swimming pools etc, I do not see how Gallery Walk could possibly be allowed to foist its parking on to us.
I suggest before you decide to redesign my backyard you take a walk around here to see what you are talking about.
It is time for the shop owners on Gallery Walk to take responsibility for the parking, put them in your backyard not mine.
