The night will open with international icon singer Lee Conway, who is making an appearance with guest band ‘Smoking Bullets’.
Lee has commented that this is one of the best shows he has played and he is very honoured to be up front with such a great blend of musical talents. Lee will share a few stories and career highlights on the night.
‘This is a very special treat to have Lee Conway’ adds Caroline Russo, founder and host of the GCIFTN.
Lee has appeared before the Queen and Prince Phillip and was delighted when the Prince asked if Lee had gargled with gravel.
For 40 years Lee has been regarded as one of the most respected artists in music , and has been producing many award winning songs and jingles in radio and TV over the last few years.

The second half of the night will feature key note speaker French born Musical Score Composer Loic Valmy.
Loic is set to demonstrate the best uses of screen music and how film-makers, directors and producers can take advantage of its wonderful power through several video examples.
After working on many European productions, documentaries, feature films and TV series, Loic brought his European influence to the Australian film industry after a move to Queensland’s Sunshine Coast in 2004.
He has since worked on award winning Australian feature comedies, short films, the national campaign of the Australian Koala Foundation and will this year be working with a symphony orchestra on an international feature documentary.
Loic said the true power of screen music lies in how it changes people’s judgements and thoughts.
“Of course, music can influence an audience’s feelings and emotions, but let’s see what it can do on our judgement of a scene or a character and how it can even influence what we think and decide when we must think of it. Sadly, in the best cases, music in film is only used as an emotional media, and in the worst cases, it is just a decorative element used to fill the blanks - but it can do so much more,” Loic said.
The GCIFTN is for everyone wanting to be part of a growing industry in Film, TV and Music. Our guests share their passion and everyone can meet, network and have fun. There are Lucky Door prizes to win. Bookings are advised for this as seating is limited.
