Tamborine Mountain Community Care Assn Inc (TMCCA) was established in 1993 to provide care for residents on Tamborine Mountain so that they could remain living independently in their homes.

An independent community based volunteer association, which has been supporting the appreciation, protection and preservation of the natural environment of Tamborine Mountain since 1975.

Tamborine Mountain Progress Association Inc is a voluntary not-for-profit association. Established in 1915, TM Progress Association aims to watch over and protect, as far as it is able, the general interests of the community.

Membership of TMPA is open to all adult residents of Tamborine Mountain for just $15 per year (Jan-Dec) and is an ideal way for like-minded people to meet to help preserve the unique ambience and diverse ecology of this plateau.

General meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month at the Heritage Centre, Wongawallan Road, Eagle Heights commencing at 7:30 p.m. Non-members are welcome to attend.

Music is integral to our church and our worship reflects this through contemporary lively, spiritually inspired songs, many of which have been written by church member, Greg Joyce.

Zonta International is a world wide organisation of executives in business and the professions working together to advance the status of women through service and advocacy.

Originally included in District 16 (now located in New Zealand), Australia has been part of Zonta International since 1966 and has grown to be home now to three Zonta International Districts.

Together they incorporate 110 Zonta Clubs that are spread right across all States and Territories.

The Club meets 3rd Wednesday of the month at the Vonda Youngman Centre where members enjoy a variety of quality speakers, and the opportunity of fellowship and social interaction.

TM. Bridge Club meets each Monday at 6.45pm and Thursday at 1pm at Creative Arts Centre, Wongawallan Road.

Duplicate sessions conducted under supervision of qualified directors. Regular Red Point events.

New members and visitors welcome.

We are not all expert gardeners but we do enjoy the peace and beauty of a garden and we hope to learn a little from our club activities.

We offer morning tea or coffee at 9:30 and start the business meeting at 10.

There is a visiting speaker from 11 to 12, after which the meeting closes.

The members of the Brigade are a diverse group of ordinary local residents, who by donating their time and effort are able to work together to provide their community with a highly skilled and efficient fire fighting organisation.

The Tamborine Mountain Creative Arts Studio was first established in 1978.

It is a community-run group of studios for potting, painting, quilting and life drawing.

The friendly, relaxed atmosphere is a great place for residents to meet and share knowledge about their different arts and crafts.

There are now three buildings on site and the facility is well used by the creative groups and also by the local bridge and toastmaster groups.

A small but lively group, enthusiastically producing plays, play readings and other theatrical items. Meets first monday of the month at Committee Member's homes.

By engaging with young people from across the region, Goat Track Theatre Company creates new, innovative and inclusive performing arts opportunities led by collaborative processes and participation.

Goat Track embraces youth perspectives on issues of individual, regional, national and global importance in order to mirror and transform the realities facing young people in Australia’s regional areas.

Goat Track seeks to foster skills in performance making and to enable positive social change for young people.

The Tamborine Mountain Family History Group was established to help each other plant and grow our family trees.

Visitors are welcome.

The mature musicians range from semi-professional to keen amateurs eager to practise their hobby in an orchestra, some even travel from the Gold Coast to participate.

Tamborine Mountain landcare volunteers are regenerating forests and reserves throughout the Tamborine Mountain escarpment.

With local residents, we coordinate with local, state and national authorities to ensure the beauriful landscape of our tableland is not only preserved, but enriched.

Australian Men's Shed Association (AMSA) is the peak body representing all Mens Sheds in Australia provides free practical support and assistance.

At over 1900 feet above sea level the cooler temperature (up to 5C degrees) makes for a very pleasant round.

The environment is beautiful and quiet and the people are very friendly on the mountain.

Tamborine Mtn Junior Bushrats formed in Novemvber 1995 and played in our first competition game in 1996.
The Bushrats supporters have grown and grown over the years and it is often said that we have the most vocal of all supporters.

TMSA’s vision is to create a sport and recreation complex and community focal point for all ages that blends in with Tamborine Mountain’s village environment and ecology and which fosters a happy and healthy Tamborine Mountain community through resident participation in sport, recreation and relaxation.

Being a member of Tamborine Tennis Club is an absolute must.

Having paid your membership you will be entitled to hire courts at lesser rates than those charged to mere members of public.

Aside from the Monday night competition players who will sledge you unmercifully if they think it will gain them a win, you can be assured of a hearty welcome and a smile before after and during your games of tennis.
