New sculptures at the library

Local artist Kate French has loaned the library two sculptures of Judith Wright and Bernard O'Reilly.  They are similar in style to the resident sculpture of Raymond Curtis, and so form a trio of eminent local personalities in the foyer of the library. 

 
The very cranky bear

National simultaneous storytime is on again this year, and this year it is the Australian book 'The very cranky bear'.  Schools and libraries all over the country will be reading this book at the same time, so come and join the fun at the library on Wednesday 23 May at 11am.
