If you are looking for adventure for the whole family, then how about an eco-adventure exploring the beautiful rainforest canopies and habitat of Tamborine Mountain in a different and thrilling way.

Tamborine Rainforest Skywalk is 300 meters of stable steel structured bridge through the higher rainforest canopy.
Combined with the 40 meter long Skywalk Cantilever soaring 30 meters over the creek below, Tamborine Rainforest Skywalk is the longest canopy walk in South East Queensland.
The Skywalk presides over a setting of 30 private acres of magnificent rainforest alongside a kilometre of tumbling creek and rock pools.
Visitors depart from the Rainforest Eco Gallery - a Gallery which has a comprehensive array of rainforest fauna and flora information and displays. The adventure begins on a spectacular elevated walkway through the beautiful middle and upper canopies of the rainforest.
The high-tech steel walkway descends gradually to the lower canopy and follows points of interest including rock pools, a butterfly lookout, local history information and sheltered rest areas along the way until reaching the amazing Cantilever.
This is a 40 metre long span soaring 30 metres above the valley, with spectacular views over the creek and the rainforest canopies below.
Finally the walk returns along the rainforest floor to the Centre.

After the walk (which should take around 45 minutes) be sure to visit The Birdwing Café for their delicious light refreshments. Relax inside or on the deck beside the rainforest. Here you will find an interesting gift and souvenir shop with quality merchandise.
Provided are toilet facilities, including disabled, for visitors’ convenience. Car and coach parking.
Tamborine Rainforest Skywalk History
The concept of the Rainforest discovery adventure has developed gradually since 1988 when the Moore family first purchased their unique property.
They had always wanted to showcase the beautiful and pristine environment for others to appreciate, while still preserving, protecting and enhancing the rainforest and having the least possible impact on the flora and fauna within it.
Since 2004 they have pursued their dream in earnest, and within the guidelines of the Department of Natural Resources and local council have been able to create a wonderland where visitors are able to enjoy and appreciate all the rainforest canopies in an exciting and different way.
The Centre building, the Canopy bridges and Skywalk cantilever have all been built off-site to minimise disturbance to the rainforest.
There is a comprehensive and ongoing re-vegetation plan in place to remove non-native vegetation and replace and enhance the area with appropriate endemic flora.
The Tamborine Mountain Eco Centre and Rainforest Skywalk is entirely owned and operated by the Moore family.
